My second trip to Africa was in February 2018 to Madikwe game reserve in South Africa. Its around a 3 hour drive from Johannesburg and only  e few km's from the Botswana border. The reserve is home to the Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo) as well as to a lot of other game including the endangered wild dog. On this trip I was fortunate to be able to not only see the Big 5 but we also got to spend time with two Cheetah brothers. Unfortunately we did not spot the wild dog.
