Dubai is a a blend of the old city down by the river and the enormous skyscrapers that have sprung up from the desert over the last 25 years. It is well known for its luxury shopping, modern architecture and being a foodie destination. It is also home to the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa standing at 2717 feet high.

From a travel photography perspective there are many options, the traditional souks down by the river, the modern architecture, especially in the evening when its all lit up and the desert sunsets.
